Jaguar

Lawfield Contracts are pleased to be a tier one contractor to JLR and work at all the major sites around the UK, carrying out works large and small that range from complete new builds, office and facility refurbs right through to groundworks within the production blocks. The above project was completed within theA1A2 Sports Car Facility at Castle Bromwich to house a new rolling road. The works were completed behind a dust proof screen within only a few feet of the main production line. All obtrusive works were completed outside of production time, all the spoil was transported from the site using a high-level conveyor to avoid any possibility of contamination, this conveyor was reversed to bring in the concrete. The tolerance on the pit was critical and installed to within 5mm.

Entwistle

Lawfield Contracts were engaged by Entwistle Group to act as main contractor to convert an existing Aldi store into their new HQ in Manchester allowing administration and production to be carried out from one site.

A 12 week project delivered on time and within budget including structural alterations to the front of the building and installation of a curtain wall façade. Foundation works internally to support a new mezzanine floor which allowed a large first floor administration area to be formed. Including all mechanical and electrical installation all finishes to give a complete turnkey package.

SCS

Lawfield Contracts have been a regular contractor to ScS Sofas throughout the UK for many years. At the new Scottish store near Edinburgh we were engaged as Main Contractor to strip out the existing Mothercare store back to shell and proceed to re-fit.

Works included piling of existing slab, installation of mezzanine, lift installation, mechanical and electrical installation, dry lining, partitions, ceilings, fire protection, specialist joinery, decoration, carpets, alterations to front and rear facades.

9 week programme delivered on time and within budget.

Fort

Lawfield Contracts were pleased to be awarded the contract to convert a 20,000SqFt unit at the Fort Shopping Park in Birmingham into 4 smaller trading units. The works included completely removing the existing façade, major works to the foundations and drainage, extensive reconfiguration of the steelwork, installation of large scale curtain walling, erection of a 7M wide cantilever canopy with a highly detailed geometrically complex rainscreen soffit, comprising of both Carea Dune and Trespa panels, that is complimented by a bespoke lighting system. The façade is a another bespoke feature being completely unique trapezoidal aluminium panels. Each unit is serviced by new mains services.
